Should be a great event by the looks of the trailers. There is something different about the Cody Wyoming viewing, however, beyond the slathers of free schwag, raffle prizes, and fly fishing  footage galore. Your festival ticket purchase gives you entry to a 24 hour fly fishing contest prior to the festival. For full details, contact Wyoming Trout Guides but a summary of the rules are as follows:

Contest starts at 5 pm Friday March 24 (Meeting at shop at 4 pm) ends at 5 pm Saturday March 25.

Teams of 3 fly fishers.

Each team must document one of each to qualify for prizes, rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, brown trout, mountain white fish.

The total inches of all four species takes the cake (white fish being tie breaker.)

There is a specific geographic are you can fish (basically the Bighorn Basin to WY/MT boarder) but only on public water and only fly fishing with artificial flies.

Event hosted by and will benefit the Trout Unlimited Group Adiposse (By the way, this is a new Wyoming state-wide chapter of TU. If you are looking to be involved in TU activities across the state definitely visit the link above for those details!)

Hope to see you there!
